Blue Moon Gallery is an intimate contemporary art space with a friendly and service-oriented vibe nestled in the heart of majestic Lake County in Grayslake IL.

Known for our award-winning artists and exciting, creative exhibitions and art installations, Blue Moon Gallery is Lake County’s go-to destination for beautiful original fine art. The gallery proudly offers a wide variety of styles and genres created by the best and the brightest professional regional artists.

Directions

18620 Belvidere Road | Grayslake IL

On IL Rt 120 just EAST of IL Rt 45 and a few miles west of I-94

From the south on I-94

Exit at IL Rt 120 (Belvidere Road) and go west. Continue on IL Rt 120 approximately 6 miles. The gallery is located on the north side of IL Rt 120 just past the Wildwood Water Tower at the bottom of the hill and across the street from an open field / wetlands.

From the north on I-94

Exit at IL Rt 21 (Milwaukee Avenue) and turn right (South). Then turn right on to IL Rt 120 going west. Continue on IL Rt 120 approximately 3.5 miles. The gallery is located on the north side of IL Rt 120 just past the Wildwood Water Tower at the bottom of the hill. The gallery is across the street from an open field / wetlands.

Parking

Free parking is available in front of the gallery and in the lot next to the gallery.

Gallery Hours

Gallery Hours: Saturday & Sunday*

1:00pm – 4:00 pm

Opening Receptions | Fourth Saturdays 6-9pm*

*PLEASE NOTE: The gallery is closed on the 4th Saturday in the afternoon. The gallery hosts Artist Receptions on the Fourth Saturday of every month from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Feel free to bring lawn chairs and your favorite beverages to enjoy, weather-permitting. We often feature live music & there is plenty of socialization & camaraderie!

Admission and parking is always FREE at Blue Moon Gallery.

Special Needs Access

The gallery is a single story space accessible to visitors with special needs — including its entrance door and restroom.

Gallery Etiquette

Please adhere to these simple rules and enjoy your visit:

Do not touch the artwork — or lean or stand too close to the exhibits.
Leave all backpacks, large bags, and boxes in your car. Place umbrellas near the front door.
If visiting with a child, do not allow them to run, jump, or climb on furniture & pedestals.
No pets are allowed inside the gallery.
Visitors can take photographs in the gallery but NO FLASH is allowed. Please tag us on social media.
